    AVIATION: Ireland grounds Ryanair's bid for Aer Lingus

    The Irish government has rejected a billion-dollar bid by budget carrier Ryanair for rival Aer Lingus, arguing it "undervalued" the national carrier and would have created a monopoly in the market.
