NFL scales back London game plans

San Francisco 49ers running-back Frank Gore eased the pressure on head coach Mike Singletary as his dominant display set up a 24-16 win over the Denver Broncos at London's Wembley Stadium on Sunday.Gore rushed for over 100 yards and scored the decisive touchdown in the annual International Series match in England as the 49ers improved their record to 2-6.It was a much-needed victory for Singletary, who earned a place in the Hall of Fame as a legendary linebacker with the Chicago Bears but has struggled to replicate that success as a coach.
