    NFL scales back London game plans

    The National Football League has abandoned plans to hold a second regular-season game in London in 2010.Already confirmed is a game between the Denver Broncos and the San Francisco 49ers at Wembley on October 31, and NFL UK officials had been planning to stage a second game later in the season.But the current economic climate and the league's need to prioritise a new collective bargaining agreement with the players' union have seen the plan dropped."Playing one game in the UK is a significant investment," an NFL statement said.
