    Dubai TV seeks answer from Iran on missing reporter

    Dubai TV expects a reply from Tehran authorities on Monday regarding the whereabouts of its missing Iran-based reporter Reza al-Basha, the channel's assignment desk manager Rola Sayegh told AFP."We still do not have any answers but we are expecting an answer from the Iranian authorities" later Monday, Sayegh said."We're just communicating with the office in Tehran... and they're talking to the Iranian authorities," she added.Reza al-Basha, a 27-year-old Syrian, has been working for Dubai TV in Iran for a year.

      Iranian authorities freed detained AFP reporter Farhad Pouladi on Saturday, the official IRNA news agency reported, but AFP has had no confirmation of his release nor been in contact with him."The AFP journalist has been freed with the authorisation of the Tehran prosecutor general," IRNA said, adding that it said he had been "arrested on the sidelines of certain illegal gatherings in Tehran" on Wednesday.Pouladi was detained on Wednesday morning by three security personnel, two in uniform and one in plainclothes, witnesses said.
