    Women on Boards: 13 Global Companies with ZERO Women on Their Boards

    Around the globe, many top companies have not appointed any women to their boards. Almost a third of the companies in the U.S., nearly half the companies in the U.K. and 89% of the companies in Japan have ZERO women on their boards. According to the 2012 Women on Boards report from GMI Ratings, the corporate governance research firm, 39.8% of the world's largest companies have not appointed any women to serve on their boards. This is a list of 13 global companies with ZERO women on their boards.

However, those high levels were short-lived and over the past six months they have dropped to 26% and 29% respectively, showing a considerable gap from the 33% required to reach Lord Davies’ recommendation of 25% women on boards by 2015.
