Swiss banking giant UBS on Sunday revised losses due to rogue trading upwards to $2.3 billion but the bank's chief executive insisted he would not resign, saying he bore no guilt.In its first statement after Thursday morning's announcement on the rogue trades, the bank revealed that the losses previously estimated at $2 billion arose from unauthorised speculative trading in S&P500, DAX and EuroStoxx index futures.The true magnitude of the risk exposure had been hidden through "fictitious" positions allegedly executed by the trader, the bank said.

UBS has increased its estimated loss in connection with the activities of alleged rogue trader, Kweku Adoboli, to $2.3 billion (up from $2 billion). Last week, Switzerland’s biggest bank announced that it had discovered unauthorised trading at its global synthetic equity business in London. Mr Adoboli has been charged with fraud by abuse of position, and UBS has been continuing its investigations which have revealed:

In October 2011, a Facebook engineer named Cory Ondrejka stood in front of Mark Zuckerberg, his CEO.
