By Dane Bowler:We will analyze the long-term fundamentals of American Realty Capital Properties (ARCP) to demonstrate that it is a strong company worthy of long-term investment. • Medical Properties Trust Is A Great Value Among Healthcare REITs

By Dane Bowler:While Medical Properties Trust (MPW) was founded in 2003, it has the youthfulness of a brand new company. Management intelligently halted growth in the shaky environment of 2008-2009, so it has just recently hit its growth spurt. To grasp the velocity of expansion we can simply compare the $850mm in acquisitions since the start of 2011 to a market capitalization of only $1.36B.

    • Best Performing REITs in 2012

By greg group: While the S&P 500 is up 7% year to date, there are several Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) that have performed better than the index. REITs have been popular the past year, as more investors have bought shares for the income they provide. Although many retail landlords continue to struggle with vacant space, the leading publicly traded retail REITS are well positioned to benefit from improving underlying operating trends. Nevertheless, challenges remain within the industry.
