Whisper Number Earnings Briefs: Microsoft, Caterpillar and General Electric

Last quarter Microsoft reported earnings five cents ahead of the whisper number. Immediate average intra-day price movement has been negative (limited). Microsoft has topped the whisper number in four out of the past four earnings reports.
