Supreme Court to Hear Health Care Case

NEW YORK (AP) — The bipartisan legal team leading the fight for gay marriage has a book deal. Democrat David Boies and Republican Theodore B. Olson have signed with Viking for "A Just Cause: Law, Love, and the Case for Marriage Equality." Viking told The Associated Press on Wednesday the book is scheduled for mid-2014.

One week after President Barack Obama's historic mention of gay rights in his second inaugural address, the New York Times is calling on him to get more involved in the Proposition 8 case that will be argued before the Supreme Court in March.

The Supreme Court said it will hear arguments over President Obama’s health care overhaul, setting up an election-year showdown over the White House’s main domestic policy achievement.
