    Sudan's Bashir to accept referendum result

    Sudan's President Omar al-Bashir said Khartoum accepts the south's choice of independence in January's referendum, hours before final results set on Monday to confirm a landslide for secession."We respect the people of south Sudan's choice and we accept the result of the referendum according to what the commission announces," the Sudanese leadership said in a statement broadcast on state television.
