    Silicon Valley future as innovation hub at risk: report

    The global economic crisis has taken a heavy toll on California's Silicon Valley and its future as the US center of innovation is at risk, according to a report released on Thursday."There are clear warning signs suggesting Silicon Valley has entered a new phase of uncertainty, and that our competitive standing is at risk," the "2010 Silicon Valley Index" said.
