    SEC Probe of Movie Studios Over China Dealings

    April 25 (Bloomberg) -- Makan Delrahim, a former deputy assistant attorney general for the antitrust division of the Department of Justice, talks with Bloomberg's Jon Erlichman about a possible US Securities and Exchange Commission investigation of movie studios over their dealings in China. The SEC is investigating at least five studios in the US, Reuters reported yesterday, citing an unidentified person familiar with the matter. Emily Chang also speaks on Bloomberg Television's "Bloomberg West."

      The US government has joined German and Russian authorities in investigating whether US computer giant Hewlett-Packard paid millions of dollars in bribes to win a contract in Russia, The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday.The newspaper, citing "a person familiar with the matter," said the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is investigating whether HP committed any civil violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
