    WHEAT GAINS: Wheat prices rose as crop conditions deteriorated in parts of Kansas because of dry weather. A new government report showed 52 percent of the Kansas crop was in good-to-excellent condition as of Sunday. That compared with 60 percent in that range the previous week.

Last week 73% was in good or excellent condition while only 8% was in poor or very poor condition.
