    Microsoft names veteran executive to head Office division

    Microsoft on Friday named Kurt DelBene, a veteran executive at the US software firm, to head its key Office division, replacing Stephen Elop, who left last month to run Finnish phone giant Nokia.Besides naming DelBene president of the Microsoft Office Division, the Redmond, Washington-based Microsoft announced two other internal promotions.Andy Lees, 45, was named president of Microsoft's Mobile Communications Business and Don Mattrick, 46, was tapped to head the company's Interactive Entertainment Business, which includes the Xbox 360 videogame console.
