- The acquisition of Winn-Dixie Stores (WINN) by BI-LO for $560 million or $9.50 per share in cash.
- The acquisition of CommerceFirst Bancorp (CMFB) by Sandy Spring Bancorp (SASR) for $25.4 million in a cash plus stock deal, where shareholders of CommerceFirst Bancorp will receive 0.8043 Sandy Spring shares for each CommerceFirst share or the cash consideration will be $13.60 per share.
