    While it was another impressive attacking display of football from Barcelona to knock Arsenal out of the Champions League, once again it was Lionel Messi who made the difference and showed he is a cut above his peers.Messi scored the opener and the third goal from the penalty spot in the 3-1 win over Arsenal on Tuesday night.David Villa and Pedro Rodriguez with their pace and movement along with the incisive passing of Xavi Hernandez and Andres Iniesta meant the Arsenal defence were constantly on the back foot but it was Messi who unlocked the door to the defence.
