Liberal Victimology? What About Equally Unctuous Conservative Victimology?

Novelist David Foster Wallace gave a speech called "This Is Water" to the 2005 graduating class at Kenyon College. The speech, which has become legendary, discusses how meaningless daily routines take over our lives and that we have to choose how we think, and what we pay attention to.

First CNN, then AP, now Reuters: the entire media is increasingly start to look like amateur hour. Unless, of course, Soros is like Osama, and had several "reincarnated" body doubles, with the original specimen long gone... Just out from Reuters, an article which will certainly be withdrawn in milliseconds. Intern heads will roll for this, although it would be truly "New Normal" if Soros were to have a heart attack upon reading of his own death, and die from it.

Now that we're a few months out from the 112th Congress, it's time for the political ratings season.  Several influential groups exert pressure on members of congress by telling them that they'll be graded at the end of their term based on how they vote. The interest groups pick several votes they deem crucial and use them to figure out who is most in line with their vision.
