    Martin Kaymer hopes to duplicate the championship magic of German compatriot Dirk Nowitzki this week and win the US Open just as Nowitzki captured an NBA title with the Dallas Mavericks.Nowitzki powered the Dallas Mavericks to victory at Miami on Sunday to claim his first NBA crown, earning NBA Finals Most Valuable Player honors in the process as the Mavericks beat the Heat 4-2 in the best-of-seven title series.
