By George Acs:At first, all of the talk was about how money invested in Microsoft (MSFT) was "dead." Although I don't currently own shares, I've long thought of Microsoft as being an annuity based on the predictable dividend and option premiums when using a covered call strategy. I've also recommended it as a cornerstone of both a retirement investing strategy and a low maintenance, income producing strategy. Of course, as Microsoft started moving toward $30 a few months ago, the ubiquitous "Talking Heads" started to wake up and fully embraced Microsoft in a manner that was uncomfortable when viewed in public. While Microsoft was becoming less and less of a laughing stock, there was still plenty of energy remaining to begin speculation regarding the heights of Apple's (AAPL) share movement. The questions were simply when Apple would reach $1,000 share price and just how high it could go. Of course, as itComplete Story »

    • 3 Reasons Why Apple's Next Move Will Likely Surprise Shorts And Longs

By The Independent Investor:Wow, Apple (AAPL) isn't going straight up any more. Apple shares have nearly doubled over the last year, and while Apple has underperformed the S&P 500, and its tracking exchange traded fund, SPY, during the recent sell-off, the stock has rebounded nicely from its mid-May lows, to around $580 a share today.

    • Can Apple Reach $10,000 A Share?

By Investanomics.com:Apple (AAPL) has always been a strong and innovative company with a history of successful product launches. Apple has come under attack by several investors citing concerns with the company's share price. Now I'm not predicting that Apple will reach $10,000 anytime soon; I'm trying to open up your mind and bust a long-time investment myth.

    • Looking for Dividend Stocks in the Current Extremely Low Interest Rate Environment

My preference is for a lower use of bonds than the normal portfolio balancing strategies use. I just find the risks greater than the benefits. This preference increases as yields decline. Given the historically low interest rates we have been experiencing the last few years (and low yields even for close to a decade) I really believe bonds are not a good investment. Now for someone approaching or in retirement I do think some bonds are probably wise to balance the portfolio (or CDs). But I would limit maturities/duration to 2 or 3 years.

    • My 1st Quarter 2013 Apple Double Income Stream Strategy

By Todd Johnson:I own Apple (AAPL) for the 2.1% dividend yield, potential capital appreciation and option income. Apple reports 1st quarter earnings on January 23rd. I sell weekly options for volatility income. I will highlight my income strategy and a fundamental analysis of Apple share price valuation.

    • Modified Deep Discount Strategy For Apple, Geared Towards More Aggressive Investors

ByDustin Small:The Deep Discount Strategy is a value investing approach to buying select stocks at a price below their fair value. I recently wrote an article detailing how to use this strategy to set a price target to buy Apple (AAPL) at significantly less than its fair value. Recap

    • What Apple's Dividend Means For Option Traders

By SogoTrade: By John J Critchley, Jr. Well, it finally happened. The much anticipated and speculated-upon Apple (AAPL) dividend has been announced. The company said it would begin giving shareholders a quarterly dividend of $2.65 per share sometime in its fiscal fourth quarter, which begins in July.

    • Why It's Time to Sell Apple

It’s time to sell Apple (AAPL). There are probably not that many people who will tell you that right now, if any really. However, that is a large part of my rationale for selling it. First, I should be very clear up front that I love Apple as a company, a stock, a retailer, and the manufacturer of the best consumer electronics on the market. I will argue any day that Apple is the best run company on the face of the planet and the performance in its stock over the past two years reflects that.

    • 3 Strategies for Apple Earnings

Jason Schwarz submits:The upcoming Apple (AAPL) earnings report is the most anticipated in recent memory. We supposed that all eyes would be on iPad sales, leading many to believe that 2010 stock performance could track the stellar 2007 performance generated from the original iPhone launch. It looks like the first ever quarter of iPad sales will show more units sold than all other Mac units combined.
