In this article, I will run you through my DCF analysis on Qualcomm and then triangulate the result with an exit multiple calculation and a review of the fundamentals compared to Intel (INTC) and Texas Instruments (TXN). First, let's begin with an assumption about revenues. Qualcomm finished FY2011 with $15B in revenue, which represented a 36.2% gain off of the preceding year. Analysts model a 15.5% per annum growth rate over the next five years - around 400 bps higher than what is expected for the S&P 500. Moving onto the cost-side of the equation,Complete Story »

    • Texas Instruments Is Only 11% Undervalued, So Consider These Peer Stocks

By Takeover Analyst:With the economy moving towards that full employment inflection point, corresponding increases in consumer expenditures will deliver strong returns for growth stocks. • Qualcomm Should Be A Buy At Current Price Levels

By Jin She:Qualcomm (QCOM) shares plummeted ~17% from its 52-week high of ~$68 in April primarily driven by the overall market weakness. My relative and absolute valuation models show that QCOM is undervalued at the current price level.

    • Xilinx Nearly 25% Undervalued, Texas Instruments Even More So

By Takeover Analyst:Given all of the excitement surrounding technology IPOs, many investors are struggling over how to divvy up their portfolios. Semiconductors provide an ideal way to play the sector's positive secular trends given that they are indirectly linked to most tech end markets.
