Consumers and businesses across much of the euro zone continued to grow more confident about their prospects in November, despite the loss of faith among bond investors that culminated when Ireland became the euro-zone's second nation to need external financial help.

The euro zone debt crisis still has a long way to go before it ends and Europe needs to keep faith in the single currency, International Monetary Fund deputy managing director Zhu Min said on Tuesday.
