    'Hall Pass' slips into box office top spot

    Raunchy comedy "Hall Pass" stole into first place at North America's weekend box office, taking $13.5 million for the tale of married guys whose wives let them have affairs, figures showed Monday.The latest film by Peter and Bobby Farrelly slipped in just ahead of Disney's "Gnomeo & Juliet," which earned $13.4 million over the Oscars weekend that climaxed Sunday night with victory for Britain's "The King's Speech."The family-friendly animated retelling of Shakespeare's play features the voices of James McAvoy and Emily Blunt, and Elton John's music.
