    Ford to Open New Plant in China

    Ford Motor Co. (F) and its joint venture (JV) partners in China, Mazda and Chongqing Changan Automobile will open a new engine manufacturing plant in the southwestern city of Chongqing. The JV, Changan Ford Mazda Automobile Ltd., has signed a memorandum of understanding with the local government to build the plant. The plant, entailing an investment of $500 million, will be the third plant of the JV. The JV already operates two assembly plants in China, one in Chongqing and the other in Nanjing.Complete Story »
