Zynga (ZYNG) is set to go public in two weeks. In the meantime, the online game company is taking steps to make sure that its IPO doesn’t suffer the same fate as fellow technology stocks Pandora (P) and Groupon (GRPN).
Nexon, a fast-growing Asian online game company, set the price for its initial public offering at $16.68 a share, a debut that could value the company at $7.2 billion.
By Zvi Bar:On Tuesday, July 17, after the markets closed, American Capital Agency Corp (AGNC) announced a large secondary offering. The REIT also released some Q2 2012 pre-earnings information in order to help support the issuance. This secondary offering is likely to bring in approximately $1.2 billion, depending upon pricing and over-allotments.

Acquisition pipelines
Todd Johnson submits:American Capital Agency (AGNC) recently offered a $1.2-billion secondary offering to raise additional funds. Based upon the temporary share weakness due to the secondary, AGNC shares presently offer a 19.4% annual dividend. This is based upon the current $1.40-quarterly dividend.
Stephen Castellano submits: The worst decliner in our model long portfolio Tuesday was TRW Automotive (TRW), down 5.69%, due in part to the decline in the market and more likely due in part to its recent announcement to commence a 10 million share secondary offering.
