    China's Hu meets Sudan's Bashir in Beijing

    Visiting Sudanese leader Omar al-Bashir, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court for alleged war crimes, met Wednesday with Chinese President Hu Jintao in Beijing.The pair reviewed China's military honour guard at the Great Hall of the People in the heart of the capital, and Bashir -- who is unwelcome in many countries around the world -- hailed Hu as a "friend and brother".
