Buffett and Munger won't buy Facebook stock

By E. Anonymous:BYD (BYDDY.PK), which stands for "Build Your Dreams", has seen a lot of press after an investment was made by Warren Buffett in December 2008 for 10% of the company. Everyone knows Buffett as a "value" investor and student of legendary investor Benjamin Graham.

As many will know, Charlie Munger is Warren Buffett's confidant, partner and the Vice-Chairman of Berkshire Hathaway. Buffett credits him with much of the success of his investing approach: quot;Charlie shoved me in the direction of not just buying bargains, as Ben Graham had taught me. This was the real impact Charlie had on me. It took a powerful force to move me on from Graham's limiting views. It was the power of Charlie's mind. He expanded my horizons. Although less well-known than Buffett, Munger was also a first class investor in his own right before his years with Berkshire.

ETF Database submits: Last weekend, shareholders of Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A) descended on the Qwest center in Omaha, Nebraska to hear a few words of wisdom from the legendary investor and CEO of the company, Warren Buffett.

A year ago tomorrow, Facebook went public. It was one of the most breathlessly anticipated public offerings in history. 

By Morningstar: With Berkshire Hathaway's (BRK.A) annual meeting--the Woodstock of Capitalism--set for Saturday, May 4, many investors are preparing to flock to Omaha once again to hear pearls of wisdom both from Berkshire's chairman Warren Buffett and vice chairman Charlie Munger.
