British inquest begins into 2005 London bombings
Britain will open long-awaited inquests into the deaths of 52 people in the 2005 London bombings on Monday, which will probe alleged failings by police and intelligence services before the attacks.The inquests, to be presided over by a judge, were delayed pending the trials of the alleged conspirators of the four suicide bombers, who blew themselves up on three London Underground trains and a bus on July 7, 2005.
