Brazil businesses risk US sanctions for Iran deals: report
Brazilian businessmen looking to do deals in Iran during a trip this week could run foul of US sanctions, officials told a leading financial newspaper Monday."The United States has a pretty complex trade law and, in the case of Iran, a series of restrictions," Brazil's secretary for trade, Welber Barral, told the Valor daily."Brazilian businesses, for instance, which have US subsidiaries may find they can no longer get US government permission to open more subsidiaries if they do deals with Iran," he said.
