There was a small media hype ( shallow and speculative ) about the introduction of Wolfram Alpha. Since it features a search box and has some semantic capabilities many people immediately compared it to Google and even dubbed it a Google-killer. It's not a web search engine in the sense that it tries to find relevant documents or web resources. It's a computational engine with its own factological database.
