    Bahrain's security forces are the backbone of the Al Khalifa regime, now facing unprecedented unrest after overnight shootings. But large numbers of their personnel are recruited from other countries, including Jordan, Pakistan and Yemen.
    Tanks and troops from Saudi Arabia were also reported to have been deployed in support of Bahraini forces.
    Precise numbers are a closely guarded secret...
    Here is more, yet no numbers.  The implied prediction is that they are willing to shoot.

    • Bahrain bomb damages police cars

      A bomb blast damaged four police cars outside the Bahraini capital Manama on Tuesday without causing any casualties, said the chief of police, General Tareq bin Dina.In remarks carried by the official BNA news agency, Dina said an investigation had been opened into what he called a terrorist attack, which occurred in the suburb of Hamad City.Meanwhile, last Wednesday, security forces foiled a plot to set off car bombs at "vital sites" in Bahrain, a spokesman was quoted by BNA as saying.
