Architects hit the road to survive property crash

(Reuters) - Working for one of the world's best-known architecture firms, Norman Morgan and Brent Sparks were used to new business landing on their desks.

The contract wins are announced as Lord Sebastian Coe leads a trade mission of UK companies to Brazil for the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympic Games.

Six Greater Toronto buildings will be recognized by the Governor-General this week at a ceremony honouring “outstanding achievement” in recent Canadian architecture. The structures, built in Toronto and its surrounding suburbs, are among 12 recipients of the Governor General’s Medals in Architecture.
