Bret Jensen submits:I have written a myriad of articles recently on various technology stocks; both overvalued equities like Salesforce.com (CRM), as well as unloved tech titans like Microsoft (MSFT). In all the reading and research I have done on the sector, the one stock that stands out is Apple Inc. (AAPL). I have not found a single company that has grown revenues, earnings, and cash flow so consistently, with such a low multiple.Apple Inc., together with subsidiaries, designs, manufactures, and markets personal computers, mobile communication and media devices, and portable digital music players. • Analyzing Two Cramer Favorites: Apple vs. Salesforce

Bret Jensen submits:It is a truly strange market out there right now. Turbulence is starting to increase which will likely continue as withdrawal of QE2 comes closer and the problems in the European sovereign debt arena come to a head. I am amazed at how bifurcated the market has become. On one hand you have solid companies producing consistent increases in earnings, revenues and cash flow selling at low multiples.

Oracle Corporation (ORCL), the multinational computer technology corporation based out of Redwood, California, reported its financials for the third quarter (3Q) of its 2014 fiscal year (FY14) after the bell yesterday. It reported per share earnings of 68 cents on revenues of $9.31 billion for the quarter, falling short of Street estimates of earnings of 70 cents on revenues of $9.36 billion. • Salesforce.com Has Defied Gravity for Too Long

Bret Jensen submits:Earlier today, I wrote that Microsoft (MSFT) looks compelling at present valuations. I continue to think the rest of the year is going to be quite dicey given the significant geopolitical and domestic challenges.

As the result of an SEC investigation, Salesforce last week disclosed something strange for a $4 billion enterprise tech company: it doesn't really know how much money it generates from any of its individual products, it says. It said it didn't have the "financial controls" in place to figure that out.

    • Fundamentals For Salesforce.com Point To Higher Prices

ByRichard Tarjeft:Salesforce.com Inc (CRM) operates on a global scale. It sells cloud computing and services such as marketing research, performance management and consulting. • 5 Overvalued Stocks That May Tumble

By Vatalyst: This article details businesses that have been overbought, businesses that are overvalued, and businesses that represent an unnecessary risk. This could be a lesson in gravity: what goes up must come down. As value investors, we seek to pick equities that magically defy this physical law of the world. I would try to avoid the following companies like you would avoid the "bad crowd" on the playground when you were in grade school.
