Second times the charm? That appears to be the mantra for Redbox. Two years after it officially declared Redbox Instant dead, the DVD rental business is getting back into the streaming service arena by testing a previously rumored new version of the product.
Amazon already squares off against Netflix and iTunes in the streaming video subscription and rental marketplaces, so it’s probably not a shock that Amazon now has YouTube in its sights with a new platform for amateur moviemakers called Amazon Direct Video.

Turo, which debuted in the U.S. as RelayRides in 2009 and now operates in more than 2,500 cities, facilitates vehicle rentals between car owners wanting some extra cash and strangers needing a ride.
Those hoping to make money from their cars when they’re not driving them register them online to rent vehicles to other Turo members.
