AdVoice: Romney v. Obama: Who is Winning at Twitter?

This week is the PGA's AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am tournament. It is a relatively divisive tournament for golf fans. It's played at Pebble Beach, one of the most beautiful, telegenic courses in the world. If you're an east coaster stuck in a blizzard, looking at sunny California is a pretty nice way to pass the time (assuming you like golf (but who doesn't like golf?)).

On Sunday, I explained the economic, strategic and political problems with Mitt Romney's plan to impose countervailing duties on Chinese imports in order to pressure China into changing its currency policies.  Today, two news articles show that, only a week after its release, Romney's politically-motivated plan may already be backfiring.  The WSJ explains:

A high profile Ontario chef has been reported missing to police after he failed to show up to prepare the meals for a New Year’s Eve gala and hasn’t made contact with friends, family or colleagues since.

President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will participate in their first-ever joint interview that will be broadcast on "60 Minutes" Sunday. CBS' Steve Kroft will conduct the interview. It's Obama's first-ever joint appearance with anyone other than First Lady Michelle Obama, the network said in a release. The interview will air on Sunday.

This election is all over but the final tally. I expect the winner to be announced soon after the West coast voting is closed. The networks would all have you believe the election is a toss-up. For example, the Wall Street Journal just today reports Obama and Romney Deadlocked, Polls Show.
